„LeGran Project“ The Music of Michel Legrand

Michel Legrand composed and arranged music for many movies & artists such as Barbara Streisand, Quincy Jones, Kiri TeKanawa and Miles Davis among many others even for 007 James Bond in „Never Say Never Again“ – as a conductor he performed with France’s most luminous stars Maurice Chevalier and Edith Piaf. His Grammy Award winning songs „I Will Wait For You“ (1964), „The Windmills Of Your Mind“ (1968) or „The Summer knows“ (1971) or Michael Jackson’s „Happy“ had been rearranged by the „LeGRAN–BAND“ coming to performance in 2008/2009 broadcasted by Europe’s biggest Radiostation WDR Cologne. The „LeGRAN-BAND“ is a three european music nationalities project i.e.: Claudio Zanghieri (Italy) Antoine Fillon (France) Christian Cluxen (Germany) and the top saxophone-soloist Heiner Wiberny from the Grammy Winning WDR BigBand Co- logne.
